Recent news about the finances of Hennepin Healthcare System, including HCMC, may be concerning.

As a Hennepin Health member, here’s what you need to know:

• Currently, there are no changes to your appointments, your providers, or your access to services at HCMC or any Hennepin Healthcare clinic.
• HCMC is not closing in June.
• Some news headlines may have sounded alarming, but they do not reflect how these processes work. Decisions about programs or services take time. If anything ever changed, HCMC would continue operating during a long transition period.

We are optimistic about solutions.

• Hennepin County and Hennepin Health care leaders are working closely with state lawmakers on long-term financial support. They have been clear and public about why HCMC is so important to the entire community.

• If future changes affect your care, we will notify you and help you navigate next steps.
