July 2025 prior authorization changes

Hennepin Health recently updated the prior authorization (PA) list, effective July 2025. The updated PA list is now uploaded to our website here: prior-authorization-chart.pdf. A high-level summary of these updates can be found below.   

Recent PA changes: 

1. New PA requirements for Recuperative Care services 
2. Liver transplant PA requirements added to all transplant procedures 
3. Added detailed description of existing PA requirements for inpatient admissions  
4. New fax line for Restricted Recipient documents and communications
