Effective August 1, 2024, Milk Moms can provide child safety seat services to eligible Hennepin Health members. To receive a free car seat, Hennepin Health members must attend a brief education session on how to use and install the car seats. Hennepin Health members who are at least 28 weeks pregnant or children ages 0 to 8 who are active members are eligible for this program. To register for the Car Seat Program with Milk Moms, members may call 763-259-8824 or fill out the Service Request Form. Hennepin Health members can also register for the program when ordering a breast pump through Milk Moms. A car seat appointment date and time will be set after registration. If receiving a car seat from Milk Moms, installation and instruction will take place at the clinic or will be delivered to the member.
