Background

Hennepin Health has implemented a change in billing for outpatient ESRD services and will not allow providers to bill more than once a month. Previously, ESRD providers were allowed to bill to Hennepin Health multiple times a month. Going forward, if a provider bills more than monthly to Hennepin Health, the subsequent claims will be denied. Monthly billing aligns with Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) standards.
